Are you tired of listening to the same advice that is being shared throughout YouTube? Are you fed up with the false advice that people are giving about properly growing a Instagram page? I know your pain because I have been in your shoes. I have invested in courses, coaches, mentors, read books, and dived into every YouTube video about properly growing your Instagram Page. I want to help you succeed the right way and give you the knowledge to avoid any trial and error I have gone through! These are some tips I have learned to incorporate into my IG accounts.
I’m sure you have heard this constantly now that content is king. This is certainly true because without the right content catered towards your niche audience your page will not grow organically. Instagram is a visual platform and providing the best images on your page will sustain long term growth. Don’t fall into the hype of short term growth. There is no so such thing as a quick fix here to grow your page overnight unless you are willing to pay thousands of dollars on ads. First off, is to know who your audience is, why they are following your page, and how you can be of value to them. Design content that caters towards your audience and not what you want. They are following you for a reason to see the content that you are providing them with!
Hashtags are always changing with the new rules and regulations of Instagram. The algorithm is always changing so I’m always keeping up with the new trends. Before the 30 hashtag approach used to work but that rule is out of question. What has been working is using hashtags between 12-15 and including them in your captions and not in the comment section. Instagram is not acknowledging accounts that are making their accounts look like spam because of the high number of users on the platform. Be patient and look for hashtags specifically catered towards your niche.
You network is your net worth. Connect with other influencers who are in your current niche. Go to the discovery page or explore page and see what posts are going viral. Dm them and see how you can provide value to them. Don’t ask for their services without providing value. The more connections you can make on the platform will take you to greater levels. Ask them if you can join their dm groups or if they have anything you are particularly interested in.
Growth comes after you have planned out what type of content you will produce, target market, and how consistent you are with posting. Know who your audience is! This is a crucial component because if you do not know who you are targeting your posts to then you can’t expect to grow. Growth takes time if you want to do it the right way. The follow/unfollow method will only kill your account for the long term. The recommended posting is at least 3-5 posts per day for a brand page and 1-3 posts for a personal brand. Consistency is key like anything else in life, and Instagram will reward you for it.
Your bio for your page is a critical component to your Instagram account because it shows what you are about, who you are, and why someone should follow your page. Including the who, what, why into your bio will correlate towards people following you or not. Providing an engaging bio section will spike your growth. Include at the very bottom of the bio description a call to action link to promote your product or service. The use of emoji’s in the bio will engage more of your audience to follow your account.
